NXIVM leader Keith Raniere’s new lawyer worked for Bill Cosby

NEW YORK – A Brooklyn lawyer who not too long ago argued on behalf of disgraced comic and convicted sexual predator Invoice Cosby has joined the authorized workforce of NXIVM leader Keith Raniere.

In her first transfer on behalf of the notorious self-help guru from Halfmoon, appellate lawyer Jennifer Bonjean requested the identical federal decide who imposed Raniere’s 120-year jail sentence to suggest he be allowed to remain in his federal lock-up in Brooklyn, and never be transferred to a facility in Arizona.

Bonjean filed a movement on Tuesday asking Senior U.S. District Decide Nicholas Garaufis to suggest to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons that Raniere be allowed to stay in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Middle, the place he has been since his arrest in March 2018.
